So me and my friend have been planning for a long time to take a trip around Australia next year. We went into the travel agents on thursday to finally buy our flight...so excited!!! There was this great deal on and we would have gotten over real cheap blah blah blah. So we go up to the desk and it turns out the offer only applies for this year -___- Crap.
We sit down, dejected and start flicking through brochures and stuff, real bummed at this stage and i find a thing on trip around the world. My friend looks over and is like ''oh that looks cool'' ''yeah look at all the places you go, it stops in Australia too. And its cheaper than our Aussie flight too.....do you wanna do that instead?'' ''.....sure!''
Hahah! We were so casual about it!! But we've decided to save all our money and head off in 2010. Its ages away but im SO excited!! AHH! Our trip is as follows:
Fly to London and then Bangkok.
Get train down to Singapore, stopping in Khuala Lumper on the way.
Fly to Perth, get bus to Darwin, fly to Cairns bus to Alice Springs and then to Sydney.
Fly to Fiji, fly to Hawaii, fly to LA. Bus to Vegas, San Fran, Seattle and Vancouver.
Fly back to London and then home!
AHHHHHHHHH!!! I've already bought way too many travel books and agggh just cant wait. I'll be finished college then so we can take nearly 4 months to do it. Any tips or places we must see I'd love to hear them!
I love planning things too much...

Since I wasn't going to have to play for the new trip for a while i went out and bought myself a new camera!! Wooo! Its a Canon SLR and im just head over heals in love with it. I got a free photography course with it too so just so excited to start that soon!

A random guy stopped my friend in the street the other week. He opened his shirt and was like...''does this look good on me'' My friend just stood agape. ''I thought so'' the guy said and walked off. HAH!

My ears have been ringing for two days straight. That might not sound like a long time but when you have constant buzzing in your ears and cant sleep...well it feels like a long time. I was so baked on wednesday night i didn't even notice the music at the club was so loud. I just hope its not permanent.

I've something BIG to post soon. I cant wait. I've been planning it for ages. Wooo! Also i got Animal Crossing: Wild World for my DS. God its soo addictive. I cant wait to upgrade the shop to get the hair salon!!! Need moar monies D: And im nearly finished Phoenix Wright: JFA!! The last trial is HARD! luuuvv youuu wrighty!

Today the sun was shining, it was really nice and hot and right now I can hear birds singing outside the window. Its just becoming evening which is my favourite part of the day. I finished college on Thursday, we had a great BBQ in the college on Friday and today we went paintballing as a kind of 'goodbye for the summer' as a class. Our team won.
I was feeling brill until about half an hour ago. Then someone ruined it. The shit thing is I feel guilty about it, and i shouldnt. My day has been ruined. But you know, tomorrow is another day, and i'll feel better, and even better the day after that. By the end of the month i should have rainbows and sunshine coming out my arse.

But yeah, today is pretty shit.

Anyway, college is over so i'll be posting more art really soon. I hope you had a great day and I hope tomorrow is twice as good...and the next day three times as good.

Wow I have a cold of awesome proportions, I feel mega crappy at the mo -_____- I got caught in a downpour on the way home from college last week so i think thats whats caused it. I've got to finish up all my final projects for class soon too. I have a small set, a model of my character, a full scale mask (we're talking lotr quality here people! D: ), a project on production design and a 2,500 word essay......
I think i'll stay home tomorrow and do my model cause I hate being in college looking as bad as I feel and sneezing down the house.
Yea thats a good enough excuse......

I've been absent from DA for almost a year now. I plan to update this account as often as I can with photographs and drawings, im still a beginner in both both mediums but hopefully i'll improve as I go along!
